Wheatgrass CapsulesQuality Natural Health Supplements - Learn About Quality Natural Health Supplements

1.Scrutinize the label. The FDA does not regulate health supplements, so manufacturers can pretty much put whatever they want there. You know the manufacturer is bluffing when they claim that the supplement (a) is a replacement for the prescribed medicatin you are currently taking, (b) is a ?cure-all? formulation, or (c) dies not have any side effects. If you see any of these statements (and other such dubious statements) on the label, do not buy the supplement.

What do the labels of quality natural health supplements say, then? It should contain important, unbiased information. The label must clearly contain the name, form, and amount of every ingredient used. Labels of quality natural health supplements should also state exactly how many tablets are in the container (or the number of grams in the case of powdered supplements). Also look for the expiration date and batch number.

At the back, you should see the name and contact details of the manufacturer. If you have any doubts about the effectiveness of the product or would like to discuss possible side effects, you should be able to call or write the manufacturer.

Also ask the manufacturer if the supplements they sell contain ingredients that are ?bioavailable? ? that is, ingredients that are actually absorbed by your body (and therefore not wasted).

2. Buy only from reliable manufacturers. The manufacturers of quality natural health supplements usually follow good manufacturing practices and should have the ability to test and analyze their own products for effectiveness, purity, and potency. Remember that supplements are NOT regulated by the FDA. They do their own testing and quality control ? and you have to do the judging.

A good indication that the supplement you intend to buy is a certified quality natural health supplements is GMP compliance.

Manufacturers that follow rigorous pharmaceutical manufacturing processes only sell products that are top-notch ? products that contain the right amount of nutrients and vitamins, and are free from potentially harmful additives such as silica (sand!), starch, and sugar. When you bur from GMP-complaint manufacturers, you can be sure that supplements you are paying for have been laboratory-tested, meaning, they contain exactly what they claim to contain on their labels.
